President Trump spent some time venting over the weekend after he was called out by a member of the Fox News team.
Fox News personality Judge Andrew Napolitano made disparaging remarks in regards to Trumps actions depicted int he Mueller report, saying they were “immoral, criminal, defenseless and condemnable.”
That’s when Alan Dershowitz came to Trump’s defense countering Napolitano’s words. “It can’t be obstruction of justice if the president is acting within his authority,” Dershowitz said in relation to the firing of former FBI Director James Comey.
“Thank you to brilliant and highly respected attorney Alan Dershowitz for destroying the very dumb legal argument of ‘Judge’ Andrew Napolitano,” Trump tweeted praising Dershowitz.
Trump continued to post that he believed the reason for Napolitano to turn on him is that Napolitano was denied a position in Trump’s White House.
“Ever since Andrew came to my office to ask that I appoint him to the U.S. Supreme Court, and I said NO, he has been very hostile! Also asked for pardon for his friend. A good ‘pal’ of low ratings Shepard Smith,” Trump tweeted.
