The governor of Massachusetts, Charlie Baker, has recently stated that he will not be voting for President Trump in the next presidential election.
A spokesperson for Baker said, “The governor cannot support Donald Trump for president and is focused on seeing Massachusetts through the pandemic. He’ll leave the election analysis to the pundits.”
Baker is joining several Republicans who have promised to not vote for Trump for the next election. Governor Phil Scott has stated, “I won’t be voting for President Trump. I have not decided at this point whether to cast a vote for former Vice President Biden. But it’s something that I would consider. I just haven’t made that decision at this point.”
